We received a letter by mail from Middletown about an opening for Asst. Finance 
Dir.
Herewith the announcement verbatim:

" The City of Middletown seeks an Assistance Finance Director.  Position is 
responsible for the utility billing and treasury operations.  Position includes 
duties such as accounting, billing, customer service, CAFR preparation, 
treasury and investment operations.  Position reports directly to the Finance 
Director.  Graduation from a four-year college or university, with major course 
work in business, public finance, or accounting is required.  Experience in 
municipal finance along with a CPA or CPFO are a plus.  Starting salary is 
$55,142 to $60,446 plus excellent benefit package. Please send resumes with
