Business Systems Analyst/Technical Support
Position Summary: Andrews Electronics Eastern Distribution Center's
Business
Systems Analyst/Technical Support role is responsible for analyzing the
business needs
to help identify business problems and propose solutions. This role
works collaboratively
with the Andrews Electronics corporate business and IT teams. In this
role, you will help
shape and improve business functionality across multiple areas of
responsibility and
have immediate broad-scale impact by performing successful analytical
and
developmental accountabilities. In addition, this role acts as the
centers IT Support,
ensuring all IT systems, business equipment and telephonic equipment
operate at
optimal levels at all times.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
. Performs requirements gathering activities resulting in documented
needs
across multiple departments
. Generates technical specifications for solutions to operational
requirements
including reporting and data analysis with tools such as Excel
(spreadsheets)
. Coordinates and/or manages development/translation of operational
needs
specifications
. Works effectively with management and/or end users to gather and
analyze
technical requirements and ensure clarity of specifications
. Ensures expected application performance levels are achieved
. Develops and maintains a strong working knowledge of the company's
business
. Identifies, troubleshoots, resolves and escalates issues related to
LAN, phone
equipment, desktop & handheld computer hardware, software and related
equipment installation and configuration
. Manages front-line operation of centers Help Desk software
. Assists in the development and delivery of user training
Qualifications:
. Associates degree in Business or Information Technology preferred or
an
equivalent combination of education and experience
. Strong troubleshooting experience with hardware, software and network
connectivity issues
. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products; specifically Word,
Excel,
Access, Outlook
. Experience working in a distribution or manufacturing environment
strongly
preferred
. Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills
. Detail awareness, internal motivation, success driven, and
results-oriented
