POSITION TITLE: State & Local -Account Executive
REPORTING TO: Regional Vice President
LOCATION: Remote, KY

SUMMARY POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Account Executive will be responsible for quota achievement in retaining
and growing Gartner's Research product line (Prev), Measurement (Xrev), and
Consulting (Crev) to achieve Total Sales Bookings (TSB) to ensure net
revenue growth.
SCOPES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Account Executive must be proficient in Account Planning and
understanding of territory management.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Field based territory management of assigned clients and named
non-clients Inter-departmental resource utilization and coordinator across
Gartner Lines of Business Renewal activities focused on client needs and
development of high level client relationships.
* Development of integrated solutions based on contract offerings High
level of business acumen and industry expertise
* Timely and accurate revenue forecasting and Compliance in utilizing
internal sales enablement tools and management process
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Minimum of 5 + years of proven consultative sales experience in high
technology (services, software, or hardware).
* Consistent over achievement of sales quotas.
* Proven ability to understand enterprise wide issues and to structure
innovation, integrated solutions that provide IT decisions support to global
organizations in achieving their business goals
* Establish C-level contacts and knowledge of the issues they face
* Comprehensive understanding of technology buying centers
* Extensive industry specific and account knowledge

EDUCATION:
