Product Engineer 2 spots
------------------------------------
Staff Product Engineer to join our Engineering department at our Tennessee
facility.   The Product Engineer insures the design intent is maintained as
new production processes are developed and is responsible for all aspects of
design control.

Accountabilities include:
   - Design, develop and implement product quality improvements, cost
reductions and product modifications to meet customer and changing market
need
   - Design, develop and implement new products to meet customer needs
   - Design verification and validation
   - Disposition new parts and assemblies through pilot runs, first article
or PPAP, material review board and deviations
   - Responsible for suggesting changes in product and processes to improve
processing, improve quality, and reduce costs for internally processed parts
and assemblies including the integrity of the existing product line through
design changes, review or non-conforming products, and review of impact of
changes to the process.

Job Requirements:
Our ideal candidate will possess a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and 5 or
more years of durable goods product design experience; or equivalent
combination of education and experience.  Candidate must have demonstrated
knowledge/expertise in various manufacturing processes, including:  plastic
injection molding, rubber molding, machining, brazing, buffing, plating,
coating, PVD, zinc die casting, brass casting, forging and stamping.
Candidates must have knowledge of quality management systems, geometric
dimensioning and tolerancing, as well as a thorough understanding of
engineering design. We are seeking a highly motivated candidate with
excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills at all levels
of the organization.  Incumbent must be flexible, results orientated and
appreciate the contributions of all team members.


Process Engineer 3 spots

Process Engineer to join our Engineering department at our Tennessee
facility. The Process Engineer is responsible to design, develop and procure
tooling, fixtures and equipment to carry out manufacturing processes to meet
stated project goals. Process Engineers also oversee the complete project
launch through to production ramp up. The Process Engineer function is
responsible for working with Plant Production and Product Engineering to
determine and develop the most appropriate production processes, locations,
and work centers to carry out the manufacture of new products.

Accountabilities include:

Job Requirements:
Our ideal candidate will possess a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering/Mechanical
Engineering Technology and related process improvement experience; or
equivalent combination of education and experience.  In addition, this
position typically requires a candidate possessing a minimum of 5+ years
experience as an engineer in a manufacturing environment and has
demonstrated ability to manage process development to launch a project
successfully.  This position requires demonstrated two-dimensional and three
dimensional CAD skills preferably with AutoCad and Pro-Engineer. Through
experience, the candidate will have demonstrated knowledge in tooling and
manufacturing processes (machining, brazing, buffing, plating, testing, tool
grinding and assembly).  Must have understanding of and experience with GDT,
quality management systems, and codes and standards. The successful
candidate will have a high level of technical knowledge regarding CI
methodologies and be skilled at facilitating and leading cross-functional
teams through CI processes, such as Kaizen and Value Stream Mapping
workshops. Must demonstrate excellent problem-solving, analytical and
project management skills and be able to communicate effectively at all
levels of the organization.


Group Leader-Assembly 3 spots

Group Leaders to the Assembly department at our Jackson, Tennessee
facility.  The Group Leader is responsible for coordinating and overseeing
all operations within the department during the designated  shift in
accordance with all company policies, manufacturing standards/methods,
safety, quality, standards and delivery/cost expectations.

Accountabilities include:
   - Provide shop floor support, direction, focus, and leadership for teams
and team leaders.
   - Allow manager to focus on long term business strategy.
   - Provides support for successful implementation of new products and
processes (DST projects, finishes, equipment, etc.).
   - Drive successful implementation of Masco Production System.
   - Provides training to team leaders and team members.
   - Provides talent development for succession planning at plant level.
   - Drives accountability through use of Glass House metrics, standard
work, auditing, and job instruction training.
   - Drives continuous improvement through the use of PDCA, Kaizen, Green
Belt (DMAIC), and TPM.
   - Improve SQDC Metrics.

Job Requirements:
Our ideal candidate will possess a B.S. and 5 or more years of related
supervisory or management experience; or equivalent combination of education
and experience.  Candidate must have experience with manpower planning and
experience with lean concepts.  A high level of technical knowledge
regarding CI methodologies is essential for successful execution of
position; orange, green or black belt preferred.  Incumbent must also be
skilled at facilitating and leading cross-functional teams through
structured CI processes (Kaizen and Value Stream Mapping workshops).  Must
have demonstrated highly developed problem-solving, analytical skills and
project management skills in previous work experience and be able to
exercise sound decision-making judgment.


Continuous Improvement Engineer 2 spots

Continuous Improvement Engineers for our  Tennessee facility.  The CI
Engineer applies expertise in continuous improvement methodologies such as
Lean, Six Sigma, and Value Engineering to improve quality, reduce lead time,
eliminate waste, reduce cost, and grow top line revenue. This position is a
driving force in accelerating Lean and Six Sigma cultural transformation
within the facility.

Accountabilities include:
   - Apply expert level knowledge in CI methods discussed above to improve
quality, reduce cost, and improve customer service.
   - Facilitate rapid Lean deployment (Kaizen) events.
   - Lead and implement Six Sigma Green Belt and Black Belt projects.
   - Coordinate the selection, scoping, planning and implementation of CI
projects and events.
   - Lead teams responsible for the planning, preparation and implementation
of CI initiatives.
   - Track progress toward CI goals and objectives and follow up on projects
to ensure results are achieved and sustained.
   - Resolve implementation issues, create and manage implementation
communication processes, and ensure consistency of implemented processes and
programs.
   - Conduct employee training in CI Tools.
   - Stay abreast of the latest external developments in continuous
improvement best practices and help bring new learning to Delta Faucet as
appropriate.

Job Requirements:
Ideal candidate will possess a B.S. degree in an Engineering discipline or
related discipline and 3-5 years in a Continuous Improvement role; or
equivalent combination of education and experience.  Must have a high level
of technical knowledge regarding CI methodologies and have demonstrated
problem solving, planning, and project management skills from previous work
experience.  Must be skilled at facilitating and leading cross-functional
teams through  structured CI processes such as Kaizen events and Value
Stream Mapping workshops.  Excellent interpersonal skills to be able to
effectively communicate with and build strong working relationships with
individuals and within teams at all levels of the organization necessary.
Should be able to think and act independently with little direct guidance.
