**I will be working for XXXXX on Fields Ertel. It is a full time job.

It was only the second interview I had with someone over the age of 30/35 and
I think that made a big difference. It was just last Tuesday, a week ago
today. Then on Thursday I had an interview at XXX in Rookwood. Very
impressive. Furniture that you see in the magazines and on TV, etc. ...We
talked for a while, she asked if I had a problem with being qualified by a
small "exercise" of design terms....a test. I said no, but first there is a
qualifier for me. It was the insurance. So we agreed at that point not to go
further. Otherwise it was a very good conversation.

so I called HIRING COMPANY and said I want the job. And that is it. here is
a guaranteed income...forever...plus commissions. This store is part of a
group of five or six XXXX stores and a handful of XXXstores (not the local
one). so the group health plan is large enough for Mike and I to qualify.
All the things on my list are present.

Now I just have to go there and do the job. I am pretty confident that I can
do the job....the going there every day is another story! I have not worked
in five years. I start on Monday.

I also had two offers from retail clothing stores....one for an assistant
manager from Christopher & Banks and one for a visual merchandiser and floor
sales from Coldwater Creek. I had sent out the 8 resumes to furniture stores
and had four interviews with no answers and was feeling that I just needed to
go in a different direction and just get a job. And that was very easy.
Dropped off resumes on a Saturday, picked up applications at the same time,
returned them on Monday, had interviews on the spot and two offers. And, that
same Monday XXXand Norwalk also called. I felt like I had found the candy
jar. There were two others that I declined to interview with. Coldwater
Creek appears to be a great place to work and they pay in full for health
insurance for hourly employees that work a required, but not many, hours. If
you come across someone who needs work right now, they are a very good option.
I was very impressed with their management and with the
 attitudes of their employees.

I think the structure at XXXis weak.... at least in this store. I shall
whip them into shape!

If you need XXX, you will know where to find me! Or just stop to say hello.

I will be eternally grateful for your support and advice. I really needed
someone to say it could be done. Sometimes those closest to you are the most
negative...doesn't seem like it would be that way....but it is true. So
thanks.

I hope work is going well for both of you. Maybe I can buy you both a cup of
coffee or an ice cream one day soon. I will be in touch.
