Web Content Coordinator -  Beech Acres Parenting Center Beech Acres
Parenting Center has an opening for a Web Content Coordinator. We are
seeking someone with knowledge and experience with web content
writing/production, content management systems, HTML authoring and design
tools.

Essential Job Functions:

 

Act as the key coordinator for all web site content for both internal and
external web sites. Will identify, prioritize, create/proof and apply
engaging, effective and accurate web page content/copy.

 

 

Will serve as liaison to the business units and External Relations regarding
web content and minor site improvements. Will effectively source content
with subject matter experts. Will manage copy approvals, as established.

 

Will work closely with IT staff members regarding web tools, custom parts,
standards, procedures, priorities, site progression, back-end programming or
database requirements, and more. Will engage in testing of web pages
including custom parts, web pages with back-end requirements, etc.

 

Execute changes using current or new content management tools, in some cases
modifying the HTML directly. Test implementation of changes to ensure
accuracy, consistency and aesthetics. May modify or create templates, site
maps, feature lists, mockups, visual specifications, page prototypes and/or
other artifacts to describe the intended user experience.

 

Apply existing brand, site, and design guidelines to execute requests.

 

Provide focus for keeping web information current, organized, and linked to
appropriate page environments and resources by staying closely linked with
content providers and by updating web pages as appropriate. Make
recommendations for methods to keep the site information accurate and
timely.

 

Provide creative solutions to solve problems that are encountered in the
creation and maintenance of web content.

 

Contribute to evolution of website style by applying design knowledge,
customer feedback and industry best practices.

 

Provide timely status updates to business units and External Relations;
provide regular updates and coordinate tasks with IT Manager and staff.

 

Perform statistical/trend analysis to determine traffic patterns and
discover opportunities for improvements.

Experience and Skills Required:

Ideal candidate will have a combination of web writing, technical and
design/aesthetic skills.

Must have minimum three (3) years web publishing or web editing experience;
experience in marketing/communications or web site development role, with
emphasis on writing and demonstrated knowledge and experience with web
content production, content management systems, HTML authoring and design
tools.

Several years of marketing experience or working directly with Marketing
preferred.

Must have aesthetic eye for creation of web pages, using solid web design
principles. Graphic design experience is a big plus.

 

Education Required:

 Candidate must have a College degree in Communications, Marketing or
Information Technology, or experience that can be substituted for education.

Web Based Learning Content Developer - The Kroger Co. 

Headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, Kroger is one of the nation's largest
retail grocery chain. At the end of fiscal 2006, the Company operated
(either directly or through its subsidiaries) 2,468 supermarkets and
multi-department stores in 31 states under two dozen local banners including
Kroger and Kroger Marketplace, Ralphs, Fred Meyer, Food 4 Less, King
Soopers, Smith's and Smith's Marketplace, Fry's and Fry's Marketplace,
Dillons, QFC and City Market. Kroger also operated (either directly or

OH. The position is located within the Intranet Development team for the
development and support of Web Based Learning content. This is a
Design-related position and all candidates must have professional design

Based Learning content is developed primarily with Flash MX 2004, with focus
on Actionscript. Some HTML and Javascript is involved.

Requirements

Requirements: 

. Professional design experience of at least 3 years, creating interactive
media using Adobe Flash and Actionscript. 

. High degree of competency with ActionScript. 

. Solid design skills in interactive media and graphic design. 

. High degree of competency using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. 

. Minimum 2 years experience with web-based development (including HTML and
Javascript). 

. Good communication and organizational skills. 

. A design related degree is a plus. 

. Experience with XML a plus. 

. Experience with educational development a plus. 

. Experience with ColdFusion a plus.

Strong experience with SQL 2000, mySQL, and other related database tools.
Experience with HTML authoring, website design and content development
preferred. Minimum two years of ASP.NET (VB.NET or C#) programming
experience for Web-based applications. We need a self starter, with
outstanding design, communication, project management, Internet, HTML and
computer skills.
