You are using the skype scripts, right?
There is a link to the scripts on the programs page at www.jfwlite.com.
The list is very helpful and very knowledgeable about the program and all 
questions usually get answered.

I don't use skype, so I don't exactly what you mean by can read the online
list.  Like I said, control H will make the list only show online contacts.
Now if you are showing all your contacts and you are focused on a contact
and you press insert F, if Jaws says bold as part of the font information,
then that contact is online.
