Ok, here comes the dumb question.  I have a desk top but which key on the numb 
pad?

  Using the desktop layout, it's num pad slash. Using the laptop layout, it's 
caps lock 9. Hope that helps.

      Hi Judith, when you send a file to your CD drive, it's not physically 
copied to the CD, but instead it's stored in some temporary location where 
files ready to be written to a CD are stored. So once you have the files, you 
right click the CD drive and select write these files to CD. The CD writing 
wizard will then appear. Just follow the instructions and your files will be 
written successfully. Hope that helps.

        A person sent me this message yesterday as an alternative for writing a 
CD:
        "Just highlight the folder and initiate a right click option to select 
Send to CD "

        In his next message he said just highlight the folder I want to copy 
and right click.  Can anyone tell me how to use this function to create a CD?
