They're probably tired of hearing about my Access problem, but that's
all right; I'm tired of reporting it. I sent a sample database last
winter, although I stressed at the time that there was nothing special
about this database. I was told last week the problem was fixed, but
it's not on my platform, so there may be some hardware specific issues
here.

I find it interesting that some have issues and some are satisfied. I
my self put jaws11 on my machine at work and rolled back the next day
because I had so many issues. However I put jaws11 on my home computer
and am satisfied. Both computers are XP Pro.
The difference is the software I use. At home I mostly use IE and
windows media player or real player and little else where at work I use
a whole host of software and I just had to many issues even on
applications they claim to support.

As someone else commented I nolonger bother running my issues by FS
because of their shrug off attitude.

Hi John,
For the most part rev 11 works fairly well. There seems to be some lag
problems and 11 seems to lose focus on a regular basis.
Now, as for Dave's comments I will simply remind all of what happened to
Julius Caesar who tried to be all things to all people, he was knifed to
death. (LOL) I also am a retired software engineer (only back then we
were computer programmers and systems analysts) and I strongly suggest
the KISS philosophy. (Keep It Simple Stupid)
All I want JAWS to do is simply read the blamed screen.

I've had good results with rev 11.
Dave, do you do a customized install?
I looked at the "What's new in JAWS 11" and found 44 entries--most not
related to Research-it.
Many of todays' products try to get customers by adding new or extended
features--like PCs, cell phones, washers, dryers, etc.
Otherwise people would keep their old whatEver until it broke. That
wouldn't

stimulate our economy!
As a retired software engineer, I know that is hard to satisfy the
varied needs of a large customer base. The pivot tables that you want
may not be useful to web-only users and so on.
I, would, like to see better regression testing!
