working with main frame

Hi!  I found out yesterday that I am using attach mate.  I got the message =
about the protocol.  I don't know how I would find that information out, or=
 if that is something that could be changed for my specific computer.  I ap=
ologize if I am sounding kind of stupid, but I haven't worked much with mai=
n frame.  I do know a little more than the average person about computers, =
but I am finding out that there are definitely gaps in my knowledge.  The c=
ompany is also running windows 2000.  Do you think that using an older vers=
ion of JFW would help?  I don't know if I have any scripts for the version =
of attach mate that the company is running.  At least it doesn't seem like =
I do.  I'd appreciate any assistance that anybody can give me in making JFW=
 not say strange numbers and echo.  I had some sort of a problem with this =
when using terminal programs in dos, so I thought that might have something=
 to do with that.  I also need help with getting the PC cursor to read whic=
h field it is on quickly!  Thanks again for helping me with this frustratin=
g problem!
