Yours is later than mine. To ask a lazy question, do you have a suggestion
for accessing and downloading the updates quickly?

version
12.0.0.602.

Two things.
First, do you know how we can determine if we've installed all three
service
packs?
Second, to the person making the initial query, by chance, I happen to
have
received two RTF files today. I was able to open both as RTF files and
work
with them in WordPerfect. Then, once converted to WordPerfect, they were
still perfectly readable. There's no question that WordPerfect 12 ought to
be able to handle RTF files, so long as they were created on an MS OS
system. At least you know there's a solution just around the corner. Maybe
the service packs hold the answer.

Perhaps, Another consideration is whether you have installed the updates
from Corel's web site. There are service packs 1, 2, and 3.

I though I should mention, that when I installed wordperfect 12 I only
installed the first two disks and not the full version, the last disk I
believe involves graphics and the like. Could this be the problem? Johnm

If you are not worried about formatting issues, save as an txt file, then
re-open it and try reading it.

Subject: wordperfect rtf files
Hi: when I try to open an rtf file from wordperfect 12 I get this basic
message: "conversion in progress immage stream" Then when I try to read
it line by line, at some point, I hear: "go to" and the various lines
don't
read in full. I try maximizing but it doesn't help. THe only way I can
read
it is to use the right cursor to read one character at a time. Any
suggestions?
