Two possibilities. If the document is no longer on your system you can
remove the shortcut from the recent files list. Just arrow to the file name
and press the context key. This will bring up a menu where you can delete
the shortcut.
The other possibility is you may have changed your taskbar settings from
Classic. You change this back with taskbar and start menu properties. Go
to the start menu tab and use the radio buttons to set to classic start
menu.

Subject: word document blocking...
What I thought a few weeks ago was a document in my start menue, was
erroneous. It is a word document that appears everytime I press D for
documents. The name of the document is announced and if I press enter on
it I don't get "my documents" but that document. How can I get it out of
there so that I can access "My documents"? Thanks, Judith
