Re: windows xp telnet and jfw

I'm not james, but I'll try to answer.  Telnet is a protocal and a program
that allows one computer to connect to another in such a way as to be able
to remotely perform operatins on that computer as though it was dialed into
or sitting on your desk.  There are a number of programs that provide
functionality through the telnet protocol.

to telnet using the telnet builtinto windows, one can go to the run box with
jaws and type:
telnet my-ip.com
or telnet 130.121.1553
for instance if those were real places, press enter and provide a log in and
pass word and get a window with a command line or a menu of options to
select from.
