To change the location of ripped files in windows media player, I follow
these steps: maximize the media player window, which will cause it to
switch from the playback display to standard windows display, including
a standard menu bar across the top of the window. Select the fourth menu
item named Tools and then the sixth and final drop down choice, Options,
which will display a tabbed dialog box. Select the second tab named Rip
Music. Within the first area of the tab, which is labeled Rip music to
this location, click on the Change button. This will display a standard
windows folder selection dialog box. Define your new location and you
should be good to go.
