Thanks, that did the trick. Funny how when I arrowed through word by word, jaws would say the numbers normally, but when I read the line it screws it up. Anyway, once I made the change you suggested, the numbers are pronounced as they should be. Thanks again. ----- Original Message ----- From: Bob Verity To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Tuesday, July 19, 2005 12:39 PM Subject: Re: wierd thing with numbers I believe that this is a bug in JAWS that has never been fixed. If you change your number processing option to controled by synthesizer the problem will go away. ----- Original Message ----- From: Tony Santiago To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Tuesday, July 19, 2005 10:33 AM Subject: weird thing with numbers Hey guys, I'm running jfw5.1 with Windows XP Home Edition. For some reason, when Jaws says certain numbers, such as a date, it'll say something like, July 19, second 005 instead of just saying the full number, 2005. Any one know why it does this? In the config manager, I have numbers set to speak in full numbers. Thanks for any help. Tony Santiago tsantiago128@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
