RE: what specific tv tuner cards work well with jaws

HI,

You could always try the Winamp TV plugin. This plugin allows one to use
their TV tuner card to listen/watch TV using winamp. Each channel is just a
text file with a .TV file extension and appears in Winamp as a play list
entry. You configure the plugin in Winamp preferences under input plugins.
Very easy to set-up and because your using Winamp, very accessible. This
card supports free to air and pay TV and can play in stereo as well. For
more info go to:

I'm using it with a Pinnacle PCTV Studio pro card and Winamp5.093.

Subject: what specific tv tuner cards work well with jaws

Can someone recommend a good TV card so I can watch TV through the computer?

My children have a card on theirs but it is pretty graphical, according to
my friend, and when he tried to use the jaws menus with that card the menus
didn't work. So if anyone knows of a pretty easy-to-use TV card I'd
appreciate hearing about it. Running 6.0 and 6.20 with XP home.
