I'm sorry, but I don't understand. I recommended SendSpace, a service I've
found not very hard to learn to use, not hard at all. And at least with
SendSpace, you aren't sending that file directly to someone. I don't know
what you're describing. SendSpace is, I think, like most of these services.
What you're doing is uploading a file to their server. Then you provide your
email address and, if you wish, email addresses of people you want to be
able to download the file.
As soon as your file is uploaded to the service, an email is sent to you
and, if you wish, to others whose addresses you've provided, announcing that
the file is there for the taking and conveniently providing an active link
that will take you right to the page where you just go to the download link
and press Enter and perform the usual download procedure, That is all there
is to it. If you don't know the addresses of the people you'd like to notify
about the upload (this isn't your email program, so it won't fill in their
addresses if you just start typing their names), then that's okay, because
when you receive your notice of the upload's availability with the link, you
just forward that email to whoever you wish to know that the file is now
available. One friend three people, whatever.
It's really not very difficult, if you take a little time to learn how to
navigate the function. As I said, I'm not familiar with a service that sends
files directly to anyone for you, as if it were a substitution for email. I
never heard of such a thing, even though maybe there's a service like
that.So far as I understand, this type of service is intended as a way to
transfer files, especially large ones, by putting them online *rather* than
trying to email them.

A friend told me that he thought Sendthisfile was much easier to use. He
also used Yousendit but decided that Sendthisfile was better. I've only
tried that one and the person didn't receive the file.
