Hi Debbie,

When you create your template, make sure the page margins, fonts and all are
set up the way you want. Then set up your header. Save it as a template. I'd
name it something you can remember. Heh. Voice of experience here.

Close the template. Start a new document with Alt F and Enter. Word 2000 puts
you immediately in the template list. Press the beginning letter of the
template you want to use. Press Enter.

Your header is in place with whatever you want to have there without having to
retype it, unless you need to change something in the header.

You can also set up a macro to select the template and get necessary things
going, such as the date or address.

Can you tell I like this?

Francis
