vista, double speaking?

When I go into say, task manager, to check my cpu meter, which I found by the way, can be aded to gadgits, jaws double speaks, as if there is a secondary voice that starts when you enter into this area. It also happened in one other area which I now had forgotten. Has anyone experienced jaws speaking as if two voices are set to talk?
