using utorrent

Hi List:
Someone I believe on this list answered a question about music sharing
programmes and suggested utorrent. I downloaded and installed it but am a
little confused as to how to search for specific formats e.g. movies
specifically in MPG etc. I don't know who it was but if you or anyone is
able to help please reply off list if you prefer not to reply on list. My
