Hello, Judith. If you want to center a title or heading at the top of a
page, you select that heading and press control E. If you want to look at
the formatting of your document, you hit insert F and Jaws should tell you
the formatting.

I don't understand. I said to put your cursor on a line within the area you
want to check, and press Insert F, not Alt F. If it describes the paragraph
formatting at that point as being left aligned, then that's what it is. It
can't be left aligned *and* right justified at the same time, nor centered.
It's either this or it's that. Did you attempt to center a chapter heading?
And this is what Jaws said when you pressed Insert F?

F.Judith, to check on how everything came out, just put your cursor in the area you're curious about, like on the line of a title, and press InsertItJaws will tell you the font, the justification, and a few other things.
