turtle beach USB sound card with jaws 8.0.2173 under windows vista

Hi, I am sorry if this is off-topic for this list, but I didn't know where to post this. I am looking to buy an external USB sound card for my laptop, so that I have a place to plug in headphones in to it. The card that I looked at in Bestbuy yesterday was called the turtle beach USB sound card. Does anybody know if this would conflict with jaws 8.0.2173 under windows vista? And if not, after installing the software, then would I plug the card in as normal and then unplug it when I want to use the internal sound card? Or are there any jaws installation parameters that I need to follow first. 
Any help with this would be appreciated.
