Say folks,
When you do the F8 selection how do you turn off the "select mode"?

Gary,

I just tried it out on a Word document. Perfect! I have to assume that when
I tried F8 a few times before this, I either didn't hear or didn't
understand when Jaws said the amount of text that was being selected. Had I
read up on it in the Help files (or read your own instruction), I would have
understood what I was hearing. But alas, I just got confused and didn't
learn to use the function properly.

Many thanks. This will be a real help in my editing of Word documents. And I
won't even have to go to law school or take a paralegal training course! :-)

Yardbird,

You can use F8 to select a word, sentence or a paragraph. After entering
Extended Selection mode with F8, just press F8 once, twice or three times,
respectively.
