Alex:
You may have tried this: Go into programs, arrow down to Jaws7.1 sub menu
and hit enter, arrow down to jaws.exe and hit the applications key (one key
right of the left control) and enter on properties. This will put you on
the short cut key, tab through and see if the control+alt+J is assigned
there. When these short cut keys are assigned like that they do not show up
in the short cut key detective.

George R. Marshall

Rick, Have you been following this thread. I'm sick and tired of the
number of times I've had to explain that I've checked all the desktop icons
to make sure nothing has the keystroke assigned to it. I've also used
shortcut detective from the jfwlite website to determine that there is no
shortcut on my system that has the ctrl+shift+j keystroke assigned to it.
  Cheers.

I disagree, JAWS has absolutely nothing to do with properties on a
desktop icon. That is either a MS issue or someone hasn't cleared the
contro+Alt+j shortcut from another icon on the desktop.

We can't blame every single issue to JAWS.

  Rick

Rich, I'm coming to the conclusion as others already have that it must
be a jaws problem.
    Cheers.

    Hi Alex,
Gave it a shot and came up short. Darn. Will give it more thought.

Richard, Unfortunately I find that that doesn't work either.
      Cheers.
