MessageHi Flor, I guess anything is possible but JAWS doesn't re-write any part of the operating system. So explain it to me and others that aren't having the problem how it's JAWS 8 causing it. I suggest everyone having the issue contact FS about it. They can't fix a problem if it's not reported to them. I can't prove that it's not a JAWS problem anymore at this point than you can prove its a JAWS 8 issue. I can't duplicate the problem here on my pc's at home both seem to be fine. JAWS has nothing to do with desktop icons and their properties. I am sorry that you and others haven't been able to solve the problem. Have you contacted FS to see what they say about it? I'm sick and tired of the number of times I've had to explain that I've checked all the desktop icons to make sure nothing has the keystroke assigned to it. I've also used shortcut detective from the jfwlite website to determine that there is no shortcut on my system that has the ctrl+shift+j keystroke assigned to it. Cheers. That is either a MS issue or someone hasn't cleared the contro+Alt+j shortcut from another icon on the desktop. We can't blame every single issue to JAWS. Cheers.
