Re: strange problem with jaws 8 and ctrl+alt+j hotkey

Hi.
To solve this, what I did was I went into the shortcut hotkey I had for JAWS 7.0 and deleted it, and then i went into the shortcut hotkey for JAWS 8 and added the same one there, control plus alt plus j. You may have to reboot your computer for the change to take effect, that's what happened to me once. but it worked well.

You don't so much "remove" the old hotkey  as simply go into Properties for
the icon and revise the target field so it points to where the new version
of Jaws is that you want the hotkey to launch.  But Laura seems to have done
this properly, only to find the field deleting what she's entered there so
that, in effect, there simply isn't a hotkey anymore.

Regarding Jaws 8.0 hot key.
Could you still have that hot key assigned to an earlier version of Jaws and
you did not remove it?
