Hello have you tried the hotkey (alt shift V) ? This is a toggle that turns on or off automatic anouncements of incoming messeges.

Subject: still havuing problems with windows messenger 5.1 with jfw 6.2

Hi listers.

I am still having problems with reading incoming messages in windows messenger. I am using windows xp home with windows messenger 5.1 with jfw 6.2. I seem to think this is a memory problem as I have checked and find that I am using 80 pixels and had done some other things like a repare of jfw with no luck. I did find out that I have 128 MB on my system. If any one has any sejustions that would be helpful. I amm not syure what else could be causing the problems.

Just as a refesurer I can read the first few messages on my own but than I have to switch between the history window and the edit window just to see what the person has riten.

Thanks again for the help.

Matthew
