OK... well it's nothing to be worried about unless you use that mode. And I 
have heard where some computers have a problem with Jaws and stand by mode.

  I have no idea, I don't know what "stand by" means.  I just know I disabled 
something that was working on the computer.  That doesn't make it right, it

      This morning we got a warning that "stand by" was causing my computer to 
crash.  We disabled stand by and I was wondering if we made a mistake.  If I
