sound cards and file transfers

Hi all, I am looking at getting a portable computer to use in college and am
considering the Gateway 450X.  It has a Legacy Audio sound card, which I
have never worked with.  Does that sound card work with Jaws 5.0?  I am also
looking at getting Intellimover so I can transfer files between my portable
PC and my desktop.  Has anyone else on this list used that program?  How
accessible is it?  Thanks.
