Re: sonic

Yes, there is. A text cd is when the song's title and other information is written in to the table of contents. This way, stereos and other devices that support cd text can read the information without needing a database.

Blake, Judith, Stacey and list,
There is no such thing as "Text CD." Judith, in this case, might be referring to Data CD. Sonic should not be used due to its interface (I have it on my Toshiba laptop, and instead of Sonic, I use Nero).
Cheers,
Joseph

Bob gave me his phone number and I sent him
an email asking him when it
would be good to call. Is sonic installed on
your computer?

Bob, I'm trying to burn text cd's. I am
really frustrated because I need
the backup and have been unable to get it to
work. I look forward to
seeing what you have to say on the subject.
Much thanks, Judith

Hi Judith. I'm just learning to use Sonic My
DVD. I found out I can
use it to backup files and folders on my
external hard drive. I haven't
used it yet to make a DVD or CD so I don't
think I can help. However, I
have noticed that some dialogs and messages
that come up can make Sonic
seem to stop responding. You need to read
the bottom portion of the
screen with the Jaws cursor to get the
message. Then you might need to
go back to the PC cursor and tab around for
the cancel button.

I'll mess with the burner part of the program
and see if I can work it
out. Are you making data or audio disks?

Bob.

I know I've asked this before but someone out
there has to have
information that will allow me to use the
Sonic CD writer on my
computer. I've spent countless hours along
with the instructions by the
teck who garenteed me that "everyone" had
this program. I can't get it
to work for me. I can provide the keystrokes
that are supposed to get
it to work but the first screen that comes up
doesn't allow me to use
these instructions. Please, if anyone out
there has a clue as to what
to do with this program I would be forever in
your debt. Thanks,
Judith
