thinking of ad-aware, I lost the scripts when I had a computer problem. I still have on my start menu programs "ad-aware scripts sub menu. and I clicked it and went to the site and it said that they were the scripts for jaws 6.2. I know Dean made some change since jaws 6.2 so are these changes included or do I have to get them some place else.

I also use IE 7 and I do still use AdAware, and yes, it does still find things, so I wouldn't recommend not using it anymore. It sounded like before entering an additional web site address, they were hitting enter twice, but didn't say that in the instructions. Accidentally, I found out that you can go to a web page, set it as a home page as you described, but you can go to another web page and set it as a home page too. Pretty counterintuitive, I know. I have no idea how many you could set to open as tab pages in this manner. I bet that if you do keep AdAware and run it in a few weeks, you'll still have nasty objects showing up.----- Original Message ----- From: "Troy Burnham" <homerun@xxxxxxxxx>To: "jfw" <jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, December 05, 2006 10:58 AM Subject: some IE 7 questions Hi All, I just installed IE 7 last night, and although I've listened to the "what's new with Jaws 8" that fs did I couldn't follow most of it so I have some questions. First, I need to know the easiest way to set up multiple pages as tabs as my IE home page. Last night I tried it and starting with my original home page I hit ctrl-t and typed another web address. I was then able to ctrl-tab between my original page and the new one, but there was also an extra page that popped up with instructions on setting tabs, and even when I got rid of it there was still a blank page there that I would encounter when I ctrl-tabbed. Also when I hit alt-f4 to get out of the home page the extra page that I had added didn't stick and I ended up back with just the page that was originally there. Can somebody explain how to set tabs so that they stay and so that I don't have the extra page in between? Another thing that I tried with the tabs that didn't work was to open my original home page then go to tools and options and try to paste a new web address on a new line there, but although my original web address was there I couldn't find the end of it with my arrow keys, so I just hit enter without really knowing where I was and pasted in the new address and all that happened then was that the new web page was set as my home page and the original one disappeared. Also, I read somewhere that IE 7 scans for malicious ware on boot up, does this mean that there's no more need for spyware guard and spyware blaster, and does it mean that we don't need to use Adaware and Spybot anymore? That's all the questions for now but there may be more later, thanks in advance for any help.
