hi well msn 6.2 it will not work though. ms no longer allows for the use of
this version. what you are going to have to do is use windows messenger it
comes with xp and jaws 6.2 will work with it fine.
as for the best version of skype to use well you can use the latest version
on the skype home page. it is 2.5 it will work fine with jaws.

here is the direction to install the scripts for skype for jaws.
If you decide to use these scripts, first download the zip file. use the
link I provide above to do this. Next extract it to your JAWS settings
directory.
your jaws directory is found under the jaws menu under program in the start
menu. explore jaws explore my settings.
not knowing what archiving program you are using I can not provide you
directions on its use. if you need directions on how to extract files
please let me know off list do to the fact this is not a jaws related
subject.
The scripts are only distributed
in source form, so you will need to compile all .jss files before they will
work
to do this do the following.
one open skype.
2. press jaws key 0 note this is usually the insert key.
3. press control s.
4. press alt+f4.
5. press control shift c.
press enter.
all done.
the scripts have a feature where they can tell you when a user signs in and
out and when your skype status changes.
to install and use this feature do the following.
1. press jaws key 0.
2. press control shift d.
3. type this line at the very top of the script.
use "SkypeWatch.jsb"
4. press control s.
five press alt f4.
