I mean that the system quits talking but the power does not shut off. SHe is still able to navigate around the computer using ehr braille display but would prefer to have jaws speaking. It doesn't make any other sounds either such as windows shutting doewn etc. Yes, she has asked her husband if there are any error messages and there are none.
