Hello Judith
To disable your screen reader do the following
go into the settings menu selecdtion on the start menu and then go into the
control panel.
once in the control panel arrow to display and hit enter
now once in the display, press the control + the tab keys until you get placed
on the screen saver tab
now in this screen saver tab, tab only once or 2 times, but I think you only
need to tab once to place you where you want to be, that is on the list of
different screen readers or none for no screen reader to select from the long
list of different screen readers which screen reader you want.
Now arrow up to the very top of this list, I believe, to get to the selecdtion
"none" for no screen reader, now tab until you get to apply and hit enter to
save this new screen reader change you have made, now hit tab until you get to
the selecdtion okay and hit enter to close the screen reader tab window.
Now keep pressing the alt and f4 keys until you get back to the desk top.
Your new screen reader changed setting to "none" for no screen reader has now
been already activated, no need to restart your computer
Hope I have helped you out

Subject: screen savers
How can I disable the screen saver? When I am away from the computer for any
length of time I have to reboot and things on my task bar don't come back.
How do I uninstall the screen saver? Thanks, Judith
