In applications when the virtual curser is on, it would be screen updated. When it was first introduced, you may be reading with the virtual curser but what you are reading is not visible on the screen. updating the screen brings it up on the monitor. As I can't see the screen, I am not sure if it is still the case in later versions of jaws. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ricque" <ricque@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, February 16, 2005 9:01 AM Subject: Re: screen refreshed vs screen updated > Hi Cy, > While in the Outlook Express main window, > mine says, screen refreshed. > While reading a message, mine says screen updated. > I'm thinking they are pretty much the same thing. > Ricque > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Cy" <cselfridge@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> > To: <jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> > Sent: Tuesday, February 15, 2005 5:03 PM > Subject: RE: screen refreshed vs screen updated > > > Hmm, my JAWS just says "refreshed". > Cy, the Ancient Okie... > > -----Original Message----- > From: jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On > Behalf Of Jack Lowe > Sent: Tuesday, February 15, 2005 1:13 PM > To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > Subject: screen refreshed vs screen updated > > > I guess that the title says it all.
