To access the run dialogue, hit the Windows key, then type R as in run. Jaws should say "Run Type the name of a program, folder, document, or Internet resource, and Windows will open it for you." Now for something harmless, type in favorites, hit enter and a list of favorites should open. Even though your computer is new, the manufacturer likes to put links in favorites.
