I used to think the numpad star and the right-click context key to the left
of the control key did the same thing, but the other day I discovered they
don't. A friend instructed me to use the right-mouse-click button as part
of downloading an FTP file. He told me I would find an option there to
select a target folder. I couldn't find it with the right-click context
key, but it was there when I pressed numpad star. From now on, if one
doesn't work, I will try the other.

You know I have always just used numpad star for a right mouse click, but you made me curious. So I turned on keyboard help and numpad star is the same as clicking with the right mouse button.
Insert (jaws key) and star is the same as holding down the right mouse. They both seem to do the same thing, interesting.
