Thanks for the tip, I eventually opened the keyboard manager but the
control, shift, r keysstroke wasn' listed, only control, jaws key, r. It's
a puzzlement because the former worked in the past.

Judith,
Just to be fair for anyone for whom finding the 8 key blind with their
left
hand isn't a convenience (me, for instance), there's no harm in opening a
menu of Managers by pressing Insert F2, then arrowing down or pressing K
to
get to Keyboard manager. And, as the very basic instruction Eric Damery
gives in his audio presentation for opening the Configuration Manager, you
can always open the Utilities menu in the Jaws Window, arrow down and
choose
Keyboard Manager, too. A million ways to get things done, let a hundred
flowers bloomin the courtyard, and all that good stuff. I make the last
remark in jest, hoping to stave off the people who so often get alarmed
and
think you're trying to force your method on others when you mention an
alternative keystroke for something. I don't know what sets people off
like
that, when it isn't where I'm coming from, or whoever happens to be
unlucky
enough to have mentioned something like that, but the laid back American
phrase "a million ways to get things done" ought to help prevent the
flaming
(knocking on wood).

In the second step, it says insert 8 to open keyboard manager. That's
not configuration manager.

1. Open your e-mail program, Outlook or Outlook Express.
2. Press INSERT+8 to open the Keyboard Manager.
3. If necessary, press TAB once to move focus into the list if
individual
scripts within the script source file.
4. In the list of scripts, locate the ReplyDirectlyToSender script.
5. Press CTRL+A to assign a keystroke to this script.
6. Press TAB once and uncheck the check box that asks if you want to
assign
the keystroke only to whatever keyboard configuration (desktop or
laptop) you're using.
7. TAB to the OK button and press ENTER.
8. Press ENTER again to save and exit.

Control
Shift R, which was a heck of a lot less of a trick to manage than
this.
Darn. I wish I could reconfigure this handy keystroke. Can I? Can
anyone
instruct me how to do it? I hate this acrobatic thing of trying to
press
Insert with my pinkie while hitting the shift key with my index. I

I

I have been trying every key combination I know to respond directly

be
that this option was deleted from my configuration manager. Can
someone
