Using Windows XP Home Edition, Outlook Express and JFW 11 Build 1447, I tried the Reply Directly To Sender command on several lists. When I issue this command, I hear the name of the command, followed by the address that JFW places in the To field, followed by edit. At this point, I am placed in the message field, ready to type my reply. No tabbing required!

The above applies when everything works correctly, which it did for me most of the time. I only had one failure in a number of attempts. JFW placed the Yahoo Groups list address of the OpenBook list in the To field instead of the Sender's address only that once. Trying again with the same message, the script worked correctly. Go figure! JFW also failed once to speak the address it placed in the To field. Since I never heard JFW speak the address in the To field in previous versions, I suspect this was a recent addition to the script.

My conclusion is that if you don't hear the correct address being spoken by JFW when using the Reply Directly To Sender command, you should always verify the address before sending the message.

Hello there;

if you want to use the reply to sender capabilities,
do the following;

1, open the message with the enter key.

2, use the keystroke,
insert+shift+r=reply privately to sender.
now type your message and press the send command.
