Sigh. I think we're all in a state of at least as much exhaustion as anger. I've been compiling a list of buggy stuff that I'm experiencing with 8, and as I've finished some work I had to complete, I'm going to sit down with my notes tomorrow and see about putting a coherent memo together. But the stuff I report will surely overlap with what other users are finding, depending on their usage (for instance, I don't do anything with sound schemes, so I'd never have know about what you describe, below). Truth is, I almost don't want to bother sending the resulting memo to Tech Support. It'll contain too many complaints, and in fact I don't think that what I need is for tech support to help me find workarounds for this or that or the other. There's nothing that out of the ordinary about my computer and its specs, and I'm just sure most of this stuff is simply bugs. So I'll probably just send to suggestions, maybe with a cc to Bryan, just to keep him in the loop, as they say. The worst is 7.1 (due to so many bugs, I've stopped using it; I was particularly disappointed with how it handles HTML code, particularly not honoring sound schemes properly). * JAWS 8 is a bit stable than 7.1, but it does not match 7.0's stability level. * I've complained about this and reported this problem to Freedom Scientific Tech Support and received that it has been escalated; it was even mentioned in the first update bug fixes list, but it does not work at all (although it works on systems that already have 7.1 first release, it will not work on systems that have 7.1 update release). As I've said on an earlier post, a group wide petition regarding FS Tech Support and JAWS 8.0 Known Bug List is in order.
