Thanks Adrian.

I probably won't be using Registry Mechanic now as I uninstalled the program just after getting a notice that my subscription was ending. I deleted the installation program so I don't know if I can even get the latest version to try again.

I really prefer to ignore some things that might be dangerous to repair. I also would like to easily choose the action that is taken with each entry.

Interesting that we do get different results with this program. Also quite suspicious that so many Jaws related entries are found. I take it you don't have any extra problems with Jaws after cleaning those entries.

Hi Bobcat.

First, apologies for my delay in replying. I just now downloaded the Registry Mechanic upgrade and re-performed Debbie's recommended custom highlight assignment. We all seem to have different experiences with JAWS and this application. I still cannot get JAWS to read the Registry Mechanic window in PC mode. However, I've never had a problem reading it in JAWS mode. JAWS reads line by line and I can learn the nature of each problem, if I care to. But I've never tried to isolate anything from the list to be spared from repair. However many or few problems it finds, I tell Registry Mechanic to repair them all. In short I don't have an answer for your question. If it makes a difference, I'm still using JAWS 6.2 and will do so until I'm satisfied that all the issues with JAWS 7.0 and 7.1 have been resolved.

As an aside, I'm always struck by how often JAWS files appear in the list of problems that Registry Mechanic needs to fix.
