Debbie,
The list doesn't read at all in PC mode. However, I just looked again at
the application window in JAWS mode. Before I ran the custom highlight
assignment, the entire list was there, but surrounded by numbered graphics
and other distractions. Now it's a clean list of choices, without the
superfluous data. I don't know if that's a purpose of custom highlighting,
but it's extremely helpful whether intended or as a byproduct.

Adrian, it doesn't say listview, but I meant the list of scan results. Does
that read automatically for you when you up and down arrow in the list of
reaults? It didn't for me until I did the custom hightlight assignment.
Maybe just a quirk on my system? Debbie

Hi Debbie,
Sorry, I've been off-list all day. For me, writing scripts for Registry
Mechanic seems a low priority compared to the need for access to other
applications. However, your message about custom highlighting, admittedly a
new function for me, has caused me some confusion. First, I'm not sure what
you mean by being in the listview. Yes, I know what a listview is in, say,
Outlook Express, but I don't find anything like that in Registry Mechanic.
I opened Registry Mechanic and pressed insert-control-h anyway. I clicked on
"okay" each time, though one item asked if I was sure I wanted
black-on-black as a custom color scheme, which seemed strange. But having
gone through that sequence, I'm noticing no change in how JAWS handles the
application.
