I haven't done it in a while, but you can use the tracks you've ripped and
use them like files and trransfer them onto disk. They are .wma files. I
think you would be better off just recording onto a blank CD from the
original disk.

I don't mess with that process since I have a CD recorder in my audio
system. Philips has a player recorder for about $200, and it has a 3 disk
carousel and a separate disk drive for copying and playback.

It takes a little practice to get the steps right, and there's no speech
assistance, but I can make music medleys for the road without much trouble.

And it's a true digital copy.

Hey! I have Windows Media Player too. How do I transfer the ripped track
and would it be a WMA file?

I have never managed with Jaws 5.10 to do that.

  Cheers, Andrew.

I'm surprised Roxio doesn't have a wizard. I sometimes copy CDs through
the windows media player. Pop the CD in, go to the file menu hit on devices
and then hit rip audio. You can then transfer the file onto CD. This won't
give you the digital version, but you can set the file format to lossless
wave format and the quality is okay.

I haven't ripped digital audio directly to a Cd on my desktop. I use a
CD recorder component for digital formatting.

Marissa, I want to take a pre-recorded CD and make a copy of it.
There has to be a way to do this, I just don't know what it is. Thanks for
your help, Judith

ucrrently not on your computer? Let me know. I hope I've helped!

stored on the computer, this is a cd that has never seen my computer. What
should I do? Thanks, Judith

            Hi Judith,

If you want to burn a music CD using EZ CD creater and jaws, do
the following. Oh, I should of asked you if it was Roxio, I have Roxio 5.

            1. Open roxio.
            2. Press Alt and right arrow until you hear new project.
            3. Arrow down until you get to music CD.
            4. Hit enter and tab to the appropriate directory where you have
stored your files.
            6. To add a desired file, press control T.

When you are done, you should have a list with all the files you
have added. Then it's just a matter of hitting Alt and arrowing down until
you hear record CD. Hit enter and the buring process should start.

If you want to record actual music like guitar parts on to a CD,
you would be much better off with Sony Sound Forge 7 or 8. I have Sound
FOrge 7 and I'm a singer/songwriter. I record with Sound Forge and then use
Sound Forge to burn the tracks on an audio CD. Also, you might want to check
out the Fostex MR-8. I hope I've helped.

            Marissa

I have EZ CD creator and obviously a cd player on my computer.
How do I record a music cd on the machine using the EZ CD creator? Thanks,
Judith
