I think this confuses the issue, the bit about downloading this and then
using two programs. Please understand that you don't download the music CD
you wish to copy. Nor do you use two different programs.

You use one or the other music copying/ripping/burning programs: Roxio Easy
CD Creator, or Nero, or Windows Media Player, or Sonic Record Now, or
another. Not two such programs.

Then you put the prerecorded music CD into the drive, start the copy process
if the program offers it, wait until the program tells you to remove the
original and insert your blank record CD, then finish the operation.

As I said before, of course urs you have to learn how to use your program
("Rxio," as you calling it) and so forth. But that is the general idea.
There's no downloading and so forth involved in the copying process.

Note: If you can't see which side of a CD is which, then you can always
depend on feeling it (carefully; you don't want to press your fingers
against the music side because that leaves skin oils on its surface, which
interfere with the laser reading it). An inch or so outward from the center
hole, on both sides, is a bit of a ridge that you can feel, a circular
ridge. But the ridge on one side is much more pronounced. That's the music
side of the disc.

Cheers. Are there any keystrokes for that?

Cheers again, Andrew.

          Hi Judith,

If you want to burn a music CD using EZ CD creater and jaws, do
the following. Oh, I should of asked you if it was Roxio, I have Roxio 5.

          1. Open roxio.
          2. Press Alt and right arrow until you hear new project.
          3. Arrow down until you get to music CD.
          4. Hit enter and tab to the appropriate directory where you have
stored your files.
          6. To add a desired file, press control T.

When you are done, you should have a list with all the files you
have added. Then it's just a matter of hitting Alt and arrowing down until
you hear record CD. Hit enter and the buring process should start.

If you want to record actual music like guitar parts on to a CD,
you would be much better off with Sony Sound Forge 7 or 8. I have Sound
FOrge 7 and I'm a singer/songwriter. I record with Sound Forge and then use
Sound Forge to burn the tracks on an audio CD. Also, you might want to check
out the Fostex MR-8. I hope I've helped.

          Marissa

I have EZ CD creator and obviously a cd player on my computer.
How do I record a music cd on the machine using the EZ CD creator? Thanks,
Judith
