Hi Jim,
I'm using IE7 with Jaws V. 8.0.2107 and don't have the same experience with
this as you describe. If I'm on a Web page and click on Properties from the
Files menu (I'm reluctant to use the alt enter keyboard command because
that might open a new tab Web page; I don't know), and the properties
feature comes up for me right there, normal in every way except for the fact
that it has only a General tab and not also a details tab. I navigate it as
I do with the properties feature in any context, with a combination of the
Tab key for some elements and the Jaws cursor for others, but that's not
unusual in my experience. It's not inaccessible, let alone impossible to
find. And I'm not sure what you meant about mentioning the Desktop. This all
happens right there are the Web page, for me. Nothing to do with the
Desktop.
Just for comparison.

Subject: properties with IE7
Heya List,
I can't seem to get full results when I do a properties on an IE7 web page
using
either Jaws 7.10 or 8, what happens is it doesn't come on top and I need to
get
myself to the desktop and then can only read the properties information
using
the Jaws key. Does anyone here know if there's a setting I need to enable or
something ? as a message popped up once saying function disable. This IE7 is
a
challenge alright
cheers,
Jim
