Yeah, I now got your point. So, I think the best solution is to have FS
recognized this problem, right?

hi mr. Jouie!

Your example is much much more easier then the one that we are talking now.
For me, to setting up a hotmail account is really an easiest job. That
hotmail listbox is everything about your location and your location is in
Philippines you just need to type a letter p. If the listbox is everything
about country names, I don't think there is a problem. For you, you already
know your choice first letter but now we are talking something that we don't
know what is on the list. We want to brows the whole list, do you
understand?.

I'll give you an example. Don't you know that I got a hard time setting up
an account for MSN? It is because in the boxes that pertain about your
location. When you select an item, you country for example, it opens the
page for that one. Have you experienced that? I am maybe wrong in saying
that pressing first letter will do, but it can be!

hi Jouie!

I'm wandering that have you happen to come across to this type of listbox?
this type of listbox is normally appear on the internet and sometime the
listbox may contain more then hundred of choices. If you never arrow up/down
to the list, you maybe don't know what are the choices is on the list. If
you never come across to this type of listbox, can you don't simply answer
and post it here?. Now, I want to ask you, how if I don't know what are the
item that I want and I wish to navigate the whole list, what should I do?.
Please bare in mind, you can't even use the arrow key to navigate, because
as your cursor land on the second item, it will automatic open the next
page.

If you know the first letter of the item you are looking, press it. If many
items on that letter, try to press it rapidly till you hear the item you
want.

I'm trying to use a list box on a web page, and every time I arrow up or
down, it automatically opens the new page, and I can't browse through the
list box. I tried opening the list box like a combo box with alt down arrow,
but it doesn't help. How can I arrow through a list box on this web page
without it jumping to the next item on the list automatically? Thanks.

Vicki
