powerpoint

Dear list,
Is there a way to read PowerPoint presentations with Jaws? Some of my classes 
in college have the lecture notes in PowerPoint format on the college web cite, 
and I'm wondering if there is a way I can access them. Any help is greatly 
appreciated. Thanks
