This is really neat! Thanks for the tip. It worked great for a small
.pdf, but I got a big error message with a large .pdf file. I am
thinking that it is because I have the trial version. When I get the
'real' product hopefully it will work.

When I sent the large .pdf file through the inaccessible window on the
trial version, it worked fine, but we had changed the settings in the
trial window. It appeared that the settings did not hold when I did the
batch file.

Thanks,

Hi,

It is also possible to make a batchfile for the pdf to txt program from
verypdf.com.
Place this batchfile in the folder:
c:\documents and settings\username\sendto
when in explorer, select a pdf file and press context key. Choose send
to and select your pdf2txt batchfile.
The resulting textfile is created and will automaticly be opened in
your text-editor.

The batchline can contain the line:

"C:\Program Files\PDF2TXT v3.1\pdf2txt.exe" %1 -open -blankline

Regards, Marten
