I can relate Judith, I've gotten this hidden window message before, I used
end it all to deal with it. When I got this message I was reminded of a jfw
feature, insert f10 that lets you check for all running apps, but this
message was more a background running task so ins f10 revealed nothing. This
was when I was running under windows 98/me. With windows xp I haven't
encountered this message yet.

Not being one of the more experienced teckies, all I can say is that it
happened. It went away as mysteriously as it appeared. JB
