If you have office then you have outlook somewhere as well. You may well be
running outlook express but it's not outlook. both are vastly different
programs.

explained I went to programs, microsoft office, hit enter and I got a blank
document. As a matter of fact, when I'm working and need a new document this
is the procedure I've followed for months. I tried the methods many of you
have genourously shared and the only conclusion I can come to is that I don't

As Cher just explained, and as several of us have tried before her, Outlook
and Outlook Express are different animals. And as I believe Joseph explained in
one of his replies to your query, you can determine whether you have Outlook by
going to programs, then Microsoft Office, and pressing enter. Arrow down the
choices within that suite. If Outlook doesn't turn up, you don't have it.
You might consider keeping messages and taking notes of information that
people on the list give you for future reference. Most do, so that the same
question isn't asked over and over.

how to determine if I have outlook express 6 or 2003? From my digging around
the programs file, accessories and the desk top I don't think I have microsoft

Judith- Outlook and Outlook Express are quite different. There is no
calndar in Express. You just said that you have Outlook Express6. If that is
what your tital bar says, then you are not in Outlook.
Outlook is part of Microsoft Office. You would have had to buy it.
